1868-G Octagonal 25 Cents. BG-745. Rarity-6. Liberty Head. MS-62 (PCGS). Lovely olive-orange patina adorns both sides of this well defined, semi-reflective example. The assigned grade is significant for this scarce variety, given that the Jay Roe specimen sold in our (Bowers and Merena's) September 2003 sale was certified MS-61 by PCGS at that time.
