While the most common New Orleans No Motto $10 overall, this date is quite scarce with CAC approval. This is a wonderful and totally original example with rich olive-gold patina over lightly circulated surfaces. The eye appeal is bold, unmarred by any serious contact--this is not a hacked up example as sometimes seen. PCGS 62, NGC 204, CAC 8. No CAC-approved AU58 has ever sold in auction. The current CAC CPG value is $2,620 and the PCGS Price Guide is $2,500. We think that this coin has a very handsome look and will delight any gold collector. Cert. Number 39280939 PCGS # 8598
