Frosty, untoned surfaces.  Light friction on the portrait.  This is an early die state with distinct die lines between the date and star 13.  The strike is first rate.  Note the detail in Liberty’s tresses and drapery lines.  The eagle’s claws and feathers are razor sharp. Estimate: $800 to $1,150
