Lot Description

1876 Gold Dollar. MS-63 (PCGS). Fully lustrous. Coppery gold surfaces overall with wisps of blue. Mint caused planchet striations are noted in the central areas on both sides and are mentioned for accuracy's sake. Only 3,200 circulation strikes were minted during the year. PCGS has certified just a few dozen survivors as MS-63 or finer.
