This is a beautiful borderline GEM! A wonderful mix of pastel and more vibrant iridescent shades of pink, blue, green, orange, and gold meld together in a very unique pattern on the obverse. We rate the color an 8.5+ on our 10-point color scale, but the uniqueness of the waves and angles of the color make it really special. Sharply struck, and devoid of any serious marks in the prime focal areas. The luster is bold and brings the toning to life in a bold way. We are not really sure why CAC did not bean this coin! Toning collectors take note, this near-GEM is a really neat coin that belongs in any great collection of toners. Cert. Number 38341026 PCGS # 7172
