1808 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-106. Rarity-2. AU-58 (NGC). CAC. Lustrous and largely brilliant at the centers with s wide array of deep gold, orange, and blue toward the periphery, especially on the obverse. A popular date, with a distinctive portrait and eagle combination that was used in the Capped Bust series from 1807 to 1836.<br /> The Certified Acceptance Corporation (CAC) sticker, new in recent years, is becoming increasingly popular. Of course, the vast majority of coins certified by PCGS and NGC have never been submitted to CAC. A general rule is that a coin with a CAC sticker is one of the nicest of its kind within a given grade.&nbsp;<br /> <div><br /> </div>
