- 1925-D Buffalo Nickel. MS-65 (NGC).
A truly memorable example of this well known strike and condition rarity among Roaring Twenties Buffalo nickel issues. Whereas most survivors of the 1925-D are flatly struck, especially on the reverse, both sides of this coin are boldly to sharply defined throughout. Lustrous with a smooth satin texture, as well, the surfaces also exhibit lovely lilac-blue and champagne-apricot iridescence that further enhances already impressive eye appeal. A find for the discerning Buffalo nickel enthusiast that would serve with distinction in the finest set.
PCGS# 3955. NGC ID: 22S3.
