"1783" Washington Draped Bust Copper. Restrike. Baker-3A, Vlack 17-L, W-10380. URS-8. Silver. Engrailed Edge. Proof-55 (PCGS). Deep silver gray with golden toning highlights throughout. Notable old toned scratch from bottom of toga to the period following the date, otherwise mark-free to the unassisted eye. All told, a pleasing example of a popular early silver issue.
