1799 Draped Bust Cent. S-189. Rarity-2+. VG-10 (PCGS). Sought after in all grades as a date, and tough to find with so much hair definition remaining on Liberty as most known examples are in far lower technical grades. There are a couple of shallow planchet voids, probably as made -- one on Liberty's cheek and another below and touching the upper right pair of branch leaves. On balance the surfaces are average or nearly so for a mid-grade coin, and given the demand for 1799 cents, this example will no doubt command considerable attention from collectors.
