This is an elusive issue in all grades, the mintage limited at 200,750 pieces and many examples melted during the run up to the weight reduction of the half dollar through the Act of February 21,1853. Glints of russet patina to otherwise silver gray surfaces. PCGS# 6266. NGC ID: 24HJ.
