1881 Seated Liberty Dime. MS-65 (PCGS). Despite a somewhat higher mintage of 24,000 pieces, the 1881 is more challenging to collect in all business strike grades than the 1879. Brilliant on the reverse, the present example exhibits a bit of light, even, silvery tinting to the obverse. Both sides are frosty and sharply struck. Low pop!
