Crazy Animal Collection. Sheldon-294, "crosslet 4". 4 graded MS-61 BN, 31 higher at NGC. Hints of the clash marks seen for later die-state examples are apparent here and flowline luster from the dies still appears satiny and decently attractive on account of limited cartwheel activity. The very dark color most often seen for classic head large-cents also shows interesting violet-brown overtones. Fairly well struck in many places even if several curling hairs are somewhat flat at their highest relief points.
