1740-E Sou Marque. Tours Mint. Vlack-78. Rarity-7. AU-53 (PCGS). 28.1 grains. The strike is nicely centered, a bit soft in the centers, yet sharper toward the borders. Most silvering remains to surfaces that are pleasingly smooth in hand despite a trace of original planchet roughness in isolated areas. Provenance: From the Sydney F. Martin Collection.
