1880/79-CC Morgan Silver Dollar. VAM-4. Top 100 Variety. Reverse of 1878. MS-65 DPL (NGC). Tied for finest DPL certified by NGC. An ever-popular overdate from the early years of the Morgan dollar series, here with frosted motifs and reflective fields that exhibit a hint of pale golden toning. Nicely struck with strong overdate details plainly evident under low magnification. You won't find a finer DPL of the date in an NGC holder.
