- 1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 6.2-M, W-2825. Rarity-6. Mailed Bust Left, Second Laughing Head. EF-40 BN (NGC). Deep golden-tan with some deeper highlights, especially on the obverse. Sharp motifs visible despite some pitting across both sides and a patch of verdigris at the back of the effigy's head. Far more elusive than the "first" Laughing Head die pair (Miller 6.1-M, Rarity-1). Well worth a serious bid. PCGS# 358.
