Although the 1856 is one of the more attainable Liberty Head eagles from the 1850s, it remains scarce in an absolute sense with Mint State coins rare. This stunning piece glows with satiny, flashes of luster featured on both sides. Honey golden coloration dominates with touches of deeper orange throughout helping to highlight the strong striking detail. The eye appeal is wonderful!
