Only 11,540 silver dollars were struck during this important Civil War year. Medium dove-gray with light gold and rose hues. Sharply struck devices remain defined on both sides. Decent eye appeal. PCGS 13, NGC 5. NO PCGS XF45 has ever sold in auction. The most recent example was a CAC-approved NGC coin that brought $4,113 in November 2013. The current CU value is listed at $3,250.
