Lot Description

1872 Two-Cent Piece. Fine-15 (PCGS). Well worn, as befits the grade, yet still highly desirable given the status of the 1872 as the rarest business strike issue in the two-cent series of 1864-1873. Even sandy-brown patina with all devices fully outlined, if not retaining at least some bolder definition. A few tiny abrasions near the center of the reverse are the only blemishes of note.
