1871 Round 25 Cents. BG-813. Rarity-3. Liberty Head. MS-66 (PCGS). Heavily frosted design elements contrast markedly with reflective fields on both sides of this bright prooflike example. Vivid medium gold color with strong technical quality and outstanding visual appeal. This coin is every bit the equal of the Jay Roe BG-813, also certified MS-66 by PCGS in our (Bowers and Merena's) September 2003 sale, and it is worthy of the strongest bids.
