Outstanding Cameo Proof dazzles the eye. Fully frosted obverse devices contrast sharply with glittering mirrored fields for a full cameo effect. The coin is "oh so close" to DCAM, and only the slightly lesser frost of the reverse devices separates this coin from that lofty designation. This coin is bright white with a hint of golden toning and it is super eye appealing. PCGS 81, NGC 53, CAC 39. Listed in the PCGS price guide at $800. Last sale of a CAC stickered coin was $504 in December 2017, other recent CAC sales were in the $650-750 range. A beautiful GEM proof 135 year old coin under $1000 is a must buy. Cert.
