- 1869 Two-Cent Piece. Proof-65 RB (NGC). CAC. OH. Dominant antique copper patina on the reverse gives way to particularly vivid colors of pinkish-orange, medium rose, blue-gray and antique gold on the obverse. Some of these colors exist as faint undertones on the reverse, evident as that side of the coin dips into a light. As expertly preserved, carefully preserved and visually appealing as one is likely to find in a survivor of this middle date Proof two-cent issue. PCGS# 3604. NGC ID: 22ND.
