1914/3 Buffalo Nickel. FS-101. MS-62 (NGC). Lustrous and frosty golden-gray with lively champagne overtones. Heavy die clash beneath the Native American's chin provides a whisker-like appearance. A pleasing example of the latest entry in the overdate sweepstakes. The upper corner of the underlying 3 is plain under low magnification -- no doubt an early die state as the details of the underlying 3 are sometimes left to the imagination on some certified specimens we have seen. Choice for the grade.
