<strong>Obv:</strong> By Charles E. Barber. Bust of Liberty facing left that is the same type as that adopted for regular issue Liberty Head nickel production in 1883. Thirteen stars are arranged around the border, seven left and six right, the motto IN GOD WE TRUST is above, and the date 1882 is below. <strong>Rev:</strong> The No CENTS design that the Mint adopted for the regular issue Liberty Head nickel in 1883. Iridescent undertones of champagne-pink, pale apricot and powder blue to sandy-silver patina provide stronger eye appeal than one might expect for the assigned grade.
