1904 Liberty Quarter Eagle. Proof-64 Cameo (NGC). Frosty at the devices and reflective in the fields, with the reverse contrast being especially sharp. An exquisitely detailed proof of the date, one of 170 pieces produced; we suspect somewhat less than 170 examples can be accounted for today. Choice for the grade with an excellent all-around appearance. A nice opportunity to add a proof Liberty quarter eagle to your growing U.S. gold collection.
