Losbeschreibung: 1787 Fugio Copper. Pointed Rays. Newman 6-W, W-6730. Rarity-4. STATES UNITED, 4 Cinquefoils. Fair-2 (PCGS). 145.6 grains. An incredibly choice, incredibly worn Fugio, notable for its terminal reverse die state. Rob's image of this coin in his manuscript takes up nearly a full page -- he clearly liked it. How could any Fugio specialist or die state collector not? A crack is noted from the first T of STATES to the reverse rim and another that arcs from 6 o'clock to 7 o'clock along the rim.
