Lot Description

1850 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-102. Repunched 0. MS-64 (PCGS). The flag of the 5 also shows repunching low. Offered is a pleasing steel-gray example with slightly reflective fields offset by the frosty devices. Examination finds lemon-gold and lilac traces on both sides, and the surfaces show minimal signs of handling, even in the open fields. This date is difficult to find nice and quite rare with such appealing toning. An opportunity for the date specialist to acquire a Condition Census example. PCGS# 6264.
