Lot Description

1817 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-113a. Rarity-4. MS-62 (PCGS). OGH. Scarce at this grade level and probably one of the top dozen of the variety. The obverse and reverse fields show considerable luster and are graced by light russet-gold to crimson toning. An average strike is noted with minor softness on the central high points of the design. Usual advanced die state with thin cracks and minor clashing. Clean surfaces and strong visual appeal for the modest grade. PCGS# 6109.
