Lot Description

151.9 grains. A common issue, but in the condition offered here the 1795 TAL cent is scarce in an absolute sense and rare compared to demand from high grade type collectors. Full satin luster on hard, tight, smooth surfaces that are originally toned in warm autumn-brown. The color is nicely mellowed down from mint red, faint traces of which are still visible within the peripheral lettering.
