1899 Liberty Head Eagle. MS-66 (PCGS). An outstanding premium Gem eagle for a high-grade type set. Very frosty appearance with strong cartwheel luster, satiny surfaces and lovely eye appeal. This is a difficult grade to improve upon in the Liberty eagle series, but for this date there do happen to be three graded finer at PCGS, including a single MS-67.
