1887 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-101. AU-53 (PCGS). Rings of vivid toning encircle the peripheries of this otherwise brilliant example. Ample evidence of a semi-prooflike finish is seen as the surfaces rotate under a light. Part of a run of low mintage issues from the later Liberty Seated half dollar series, the circulation strike 1887 was produced to the extent of just 5,000 pieces. PCGS# 6369. NGC ID: 24L2.
