Lot Description

Steely olive-brown surfaces with faint traces of faded pinkish-gold color evident as the coin dips into a light. Significant spotting to the obverse explains the MS-62 numeric grade from PCGS, and a few wispy marks in the left and right obverse field areas are also noted. Universally sharp through the focal features, however, this remains a desirable Mint State example of the Crosslet 4, Stems to Wreath <em>Guide Book</em> variety. Manley Die State 3.0.
