1861 Clark, Gruber & Co. $10 Gold. K-7. Rarity-4. VF-30 (PCGS). CAC. Pleasing orange-gold to copper toning at the rims, lighter golden hues in the fields. The strike is sharp and the wear smooth. A few old scuffs and pin lines are present, but the eye appeal is intact and the grade has been approved by CAC. Scarce and desirable, and this historic coin circulated for several years to attain this much wear and probably has a few stories it could tell. PCGS# 10141.
