1758-A French Colonies Sou Marque. Paris Mint. Vlack-39. Rarity-5. First Semester. MS-62 (PCGS). 31.6 grains. Somewhat unevenly struck, with softness noted along the borders and over the center of the reverse. An attractive piece nonetheless, with smooth surfaces that are lightly toned and abrasion-free, retaining much of their original silvered finish. Easily the finest-rated example at PCGS, where a total of nine coins have been graded.
