1810 Capped Bust Left Half Eagle. BD-4, HBCC-3117, Miller-109. Rarity-2. Large Date, Large 5. AU-58 (NGC). This is a pleasing AU with light rub that has left plenty of bold-to-sharp definition and satin-to-softly frosted luster. None of the scattered abrasions are significant for an early Half Eagle that acquired light wear. A perennial favorite among advanced gold type collectors, BD-4 is the usually encountered die marriage of the 1810 Capped Bust Left Five.
