- Lot 618 1847 Second Restrike Breen 1-C R6- NGC graded PF65 Brown.Reverse of 1840. Bluish steel and light rose blending to light olive on the reverse. Sharply struck with shallow mirrors in the obverse fields; deeper mirrors on the reverse. Just a few microscopic marks on the obverse including a few diagonal hairlines between the nose and star 4, a small spot of dark toning over the lowest curl on the neck, and a speck of crud nestled between the upper right points of star 13. Our grade is Proof-63. NGC population 3; 5 finer. Value $8,000 - UP From the Boulder City NV Collection.
