- 1898 Liberty Quarter Eagle. Proof-58 (PCGS). CAC. This later Liberty Head Proof quarter eagle issue had a mintage of 165 pieces and survivors are understandably scarce. This fully struck example displays slight cloudiness in the fields, which remain glassy and highly reflective. An essentially brilliant coin that exhibits a few trivial contact marks and faint hairlines.
