- 1881 Trade Dollar. Proof-65 (PCGS). Engaging sandy-silver and russet toning adorns the obverse, while the reverse is splashed with copper-rose and steel-blue around the periphery. Nicely mirrored in the fields with smartly impressed, crisply rendered design elements. This popular issue - produced only in this format - is one of the more frequently obtainable Proof trade dollars.
