1740-BB French Colonies Half Sou Marque. Strasbourg Mint. Vlack-325. Rarity-1. MS-63 (PCGS). 14.8 grains. A conditionally scarce example of this relatively available issue, that would make a fine choice for type purposes. Crisply struck overall with slight amounts of die rust seen on the obverse, and lovely greenish-gray toning typical of billon coins. Free of any noteworthy surface marks or distractions.
