1853-DERI Octagonal $1. BG-524. Rarity-6+. Liberty Head. MS-62 (NGC). Semi-reflective, honey-gold surfaces are sharply struck throughout the design. Far superior than the Breen-Gillio plate coin, which is the Jay Roe specimen that was graded Net VF-30 in our (Bowers and Merena's) sale of that landmark collection in September 2003.
