Lot Description

1849 Braided Hair Cent. N-5. Rarity-3. MS-65 RB (PCGS). Plenty of frosty mint-orange color remains on both sides of this handsome coin. The surfaces are warmly patinated in mottled gray-brown that is a bit bolder on the reverse. Sharply struck over virtually all design elements with a smooth appearance in hand. A small obverse spot is out of the way and well concealed within the denticles outside star 11. Noyes Die State B/E. Provenance: Ex Eric P.
