Presented is one of the nine highest graded examples at PCGS. A satiny sheen dominates both sides bringing life to the rich iridescent blue and rose, olive and gold, russet and tan toning that graces both sides. The devices are fully struck. A great coin for an advanced type set or for those working on a Mint State set of Seated halves, this one would be a very welcome addition! PCGS 5, NGC 5. There are only 4 coins finer at PCGS. The most recent coin to sell was the Gardner coin. Since 2010 that coin had appeared in auction three times, most recently selling for $3,760--a very weak price--in the 2017 FUN auction (which also had the MS64 Dick Osburn-Richard Jewell coin that sold for $4,465). The current PCGS value is listed at $5,250, and since neither of the those two coins had the original patina this one does, we can see this one selling for more. Good luck. Cert.
