1877-CC Liberty Head Half Eagle. EF-40 (PCGS). CAC. This is an exceptionally well preserved 1877-CC half eagle, with both sides overall smooth and displaying warm, original, honey-gold patina. The strike is bold to sharp as well, and there are glints of luster in the protected areas around the devices. This low mintage (8,680 pieces) Carson City Mint issue is rare and the present coin represents an important bidding opportunity for the specialized collector. PCGS# 8343. NGC ID: 25X2.
