Losbeschreibung

Obv: Similar to the regular issue nickel three-cent piece of 1865 to 1889, but on a larger scale. Rev: A laurel wreath encircles the denomination 5 CENTS, the word CENTS markedly curved. Lightly frosted motifs and mirrored fields enjoy blushes of smoky silver gray patina. A circular die crack (as made) on the obverse connects the tops of the date digits and the bottoms of the letters in the legend and is unbroken in its 360-degree trip around the circumference.
