1787 New Jersey Copper. Maris 38-c, W-5190. Rarity-3. No Sprig Above Plow, Small Head. VF-25 (PCGS). Noteworthy condition for this better variety. Quite scarce in the nice VF grade offered here and very difficult to locate in higher grades. Deep brown surfaces with maybe a hint of microporosity seen under magnification, but smooth and glossy in appearance at arm's length. A scratch right of the plow is the only mentionable mark.
