1896 Morgan Silver Dollar. Proof-65 Cameo (NGC). Fully struck with a satin to softly frosted texture, the devices contrast markedly with mirrored reflectivity in the fields. The cameo finish is particularly pronounced given that otherwise dominant copper-gray patina lightens considerably to iridescent gold in the centers. Silky smooth in appearance, this is a handsome and solidly graded Gem that would do equally well in a specimen type or date set. Provenance: From the Janet Nakushian Collection. PCGS# 87331.
