Lot Description

Intense brown copper luster blooms vividly through the icy steel, blue iridescent toning. A few darker spots are seen on both sides. Nicely impressed devices from a later obverse state with the stars and other peripheral devices drawn to the edge and peripheral flow lines. Pleasing overall, this CHOICE Mint State large cent is a good type coin for the collector. PCGS 64, NGC 26. The most recent PCGS example to sell in auction realized $3,240 in February 2020 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,300.
