Lot Description

A superb black and white SUPERB DCAM GEM example of this variety. The frosted reliefs and mirrored fields are immaculate, and flawless. The eye appeal is superb. The Accented Hair variety is thought to have been the first iteration of the JFK design, featuring a few extra hair strands above Kennedy's hair; it is thought that this variety accounts for less than 5% of the total Proof striking for the year. PCGS 32, NGC 32. We sold one in our May 2017 Regency Auction for $4,600 on an estimate of $3,500-$4,000. Keep in mind that a PR68 DCAM would bring $15,000 or more! The CU value $3,850.
