This is a truly SPECTACULAR Proof 1940 dime, a twin to the one we sold in February 2021. Vibrant colors ranging from deep eggplant-violet fades and blends into shades of blue, green, orange, and gold, before yielding to a splash of blazing mirrored iridescent toned silver. The eye appeal is truly spectacular! PCGS 412, NGC 407, CAC 212. The one cited above brought $3,643 on an estimate of $450 to $500. We expect this SUPERB GEM to bring a very strong bid! Cert.
