Losbeschreibung: 1794 Liberty Cap Half Cent. C-6a. Rarity-5+. Small Edge Letters. VG-10 (PCGS). Deep chocolate-brown with golden-brown undertones. The surfaces are microporous throughout much of their expanse and a patch of roughness can be seen at the top of the obverse. A reverse planchet flaw, as struck, can be seen at 6 o'clock on the rim. To the naked eye, all is fine and the eye appeal is substantial for the grade. This rare variety with small letters on the edge does not come to market with any great frequency, and so we alert the die variety specialists among you that serious bidding competition is likely to occur for this scarcity.
