Lot Description

1904-O Barber Half Dollar. MS-66 (NGC). Highly lustrous with faint violet and russet mottling on both sides. A few tiny marks are noted on the obverse, but conveniently obscured by the toning and not distracting in the least. As is typical with Barber coins, the reverse is superb. Very nicely struck with outstanding details all around. This is the lone MS-66 graded by NGC with not a single piece rated finer by that service. Rare in this grade and perfectly lovely. A prize for the high-end Barber half dollar collector.
